FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

For a while now I've considered that I'm in the wrong major, but that I've been in it too long to really do anything about it. Currently, I'm a Mass Media Production major where I've been learning how to produce media on a mass scale. There are a lot of things I really enjoy about my field, but the things that I hate seem to be crucial parts of media production.

The biggest thing I hate in my field is almost everything involved with making film and television. I love watching TV don't get me wrong, (I've got the grades to prove that!) but the actual production side of things I can't stand. Part of the problem is that I've got a short attention span and I'm enrolled in a class that's nothing but production work. I know that there's a lot of work involved, but I'm not interested in any of it. I don't really care about lighting, blocking, camera movement, etc. I just want get what I need as quickly as possible, and any additional work involved just feels like a hassle. I know that student work is (in)famous for moving at a snail's pace, but there are better uses for my time than dicking around with heavy equipment.

Maybe that's why I'm more into writing and sound design. (Not so much into recording for some reason)
